Lagos, 11:41 PM

A pioneering Nigerian browser-first supernatural horror experience set in Lagos.

The danfo

The danfo is the yellow commercial minibus of Lagos. A conductor hangs from the open sliding door, calling out the route and collecting passengers, while the driver weaves through traffic. Late at night, the last danfo is the last way home.

Yaba to Ikorodu

Yaba is a busy part of mainland Lagos, full of print shops, markets and students. Ikorodu sits on the city's north-eastern edge, a long ride away. Miss the last bus and you are stranded.

The rainy season

From roughly April to October, heavy rain can flood Lagos roads and underpasses within minutes. Drivers have to decide whether to wait or push through the water. In LAST BUS, that decision matters.

The voices

Lagos speaks many languages at once. On this bus you will hear English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa, all subtitled in English.
